Mixed Reviews On The Vera Wang Mattresses
Let’s face it, at no point in time is the bed you sleep on more important than after you get married. At that point you seem to find yourself spending more time than usual in bed. Also, you are sharing a bed so you need to have a mattress that is comfortable for both of you and will allow you each a good night’s rest every night. But which mattress to choose?
Vera Wang, the world-renowned fashion designer has teamed up with Serta to create a collection of luxury mattresses that are both beautiful and comfortable. They come with such names as the Signature Bridal, Sequin, Braid, Floral and Sweetheart beds.
A quick look into reviews of some of these beds will give you an idea that the majority of customers are satisfied with their purchase; however, it is a rather small majority according to some sites. Whether this is due to a fault in the product or misunderstanding of the product and false expectations is unclear.
Most people agree that the Vera Wang mattress is extremely comfortable shortly after purchase. Many claim to have the best night’s rest they have had in a long time and that the mattress has relieved some of their back and other problems.
Unfortunately, even of those who claim they love the way it feels quite a few remark that there is noticeable sagging after a year or even less in some cases. Because these mattresses are not cheap, this can cause some frustration.
In any line of mattresses, you have a range of different levels of quality and the mattresses are made with different materials. Vera Wang mattresses are no different. They are made with memory foam, but some are made with latex, boasting that this high quality natural material makes their mattresses of a high standard. This is true of some of the more expensive versions, but even the lower standard mattresses claim to be made of latex.
Latex is better than memory foam made of polyurethane because it breathes more easily and just is of a better quality. Top range mattresses are made of this material and are very comfortable, however, some of the lower end mattresses which claim to be made of latex, actually only contain a small amount of latex padding under much thicker memory foam.
Vera Wang certainly has created some lovely mattresses. Nobody will dispute that! They look and feel luxurious, but once you put your sheets on, you only have what you feel, and if that sensation of luxury disappears after a short time, it may not be a worthwhile investment. Still, look into the different types of Vera Wang mattresses and you may find the perfect mattress for you on the higher end, with positive reviews to back it up.
